Mom called Shelly while I was at church and said it would still be a couple of hours before they could get her MRI done. She thinks it will be tomorrow before she gets results. I'll post more when I know something.
She's in good spirits though, even seeing the humor in us "telling God what we don't want."
She said she's had 7 - 8 Doctor's visit her throughout the day, the last one with 6 interns in tow. She hadn't thought anything about it at first. When she was encircled by interns she said it dawned on her, "I have an extremely rare cancer." She said she thinks everyone is coming by to "check her out" because many of them have never seen this kind of cancer since so very few cases are reported each year.
"So much for not wanting to be in the spotlight, huh?" was her statement over the phone.
